Chez moi ça fonctionne super bien, Windows installe le Driver de mon Joystick qui est bien reconnu comme un SideWinder Precision 2 et que je peux étalonner sans soucis. Home up, after some time, i was not really happy with the force quality of the logitech wingman force feedback 3d joystick that i hacked. Dive into the exciting gaming reality for the action-packed thrill ride of victory. I found ver 3.2 of the Sidewinder software on MS' official sindwinder site, but it is ver 4 that contains the info on the Precision 2 joystick.

Trying to install my old ms sidewinder precision pro joystick on my windows 10 pc. Having the SideWinder Precision 2 on … With its nimble rudder twist, Microsoft three-year warranty, and an improved throttle, this professional-quality stick feels as great as it performs. Take your game to the next level with hardware that lets you hone your skills and perfect your game. I feel that flight sims are much more enjoyable with force feedback, so I'd rather stay with this stick.Microsoft SideWinder Precision Pro: Maximize your fun with advanced joysticks, wheels and gamepads. I would imagine it wouldn't be very complicated to add, could it be added in a future update? I have a newer stick (saitek x52) that works exactly the same as the sidewinder 2 but no force feedback. It doesn't work well since the forces feel weaker and minimizing the game causes war thunder to reinitialize it's own directinput. I tried running "simffb", a program where you can modify force settings (including swap axis), by replacing the war thunder directinput to a modified one. The joystick does work well with the game, just the feedback axis are swapped as compared to other force feedback joysticks like the logitech g940 (which seems to be officially supported by war thunder since it's one of the presets).Ī simple fix would be to have a swap axis option, like the once in DCS world.

So I tried running the game in windows xp (ms sidewinder force feedback 2 is officially supported in xp) along with the official drivers and the same thing happens again. The only suggestion I could make is to duel boot with an operating system that does have drivers available or upgrade to a newer stick. This is why you have issues with the force feedback in game. DO NOT LET WINDOWS BUILD DRIVERS FOR YOUR STICK. *****I RECOMMEND YOU INSTALL THE DRIVERS AND SOFTWARE FOR YOUR JOYSTICK. I have found in this game that windows drivers for some sticks do not work for War Thunder. (I've attached my, my dxdiag info, and latest client log)

Could you implement this in an update in the near future? The game isn't really playable in the current state. In order to fix this, I propose that you implement more options to the force feedback, especially a force feedback axes swap option. I've noticed most people with this joystick had problems like this in war thunder. Most games with force feedback supported this controller perfectly, but for ones that didn't have the axes quite right, there were options to fix this manually (DCS world has a swap option which worked well). I am using the drivers installed by windows 7 automatically when using the device, but I don't think that's related to the problem. Furthermore (and more annoyingly) when flying at relatively high speeds (more than 300km/h) when I pull back on the stick, the force feedback response is to pull left, and a left roll pulls the stick up, and so forth. For example, while takeoff, i have very light elevator control, while heavy aileron control (the airflow generated by the propeller should be affecting the elevator, not the ailerons). All of the forces that should be acting in the y axis (pitch) is acting in the x axis (roll) and vice versa. There is an issue with the microsoft sidewinder force feedback 2 in warthunder.
